Personally, I purchased an eSIM through Airalo, and I found it incredibly convenient. It’s easy to set up, and once activated, you can stay connected throughout Japan, including Toyama. Keep in mind that free Wi-Fi is not widely available in Toyama, so having your own data plan is very helpful.
If you’re interested in trying Airalo, you can use my promo code to save $3 on your first eSIM data pack. It’s a small discount, but every little bit helps when traveling!
